Infernonet.com Terms and Conditions 

§1. GENERAL

  1. These Terms and Conditions (“TCs”) define the rules of use of the infernonet.com site (“Site”)
  2. The Site is maintained by  Infernonet Sp. z o.o. headquartered in Białymstok, ul. Nowy Świat 14/4, 15-453 Białystok, registered in the  XIIth Commercial Division of the National Court Register under no. 0000361688 („Provider”). The Provider is the administrator of personal data gathered, processed and used for the purpose of providing the services with the scope and according to the rules defined in these TCs. .
  3. The Site allows users to participate in distributed computing projects, as well as to make their own distributed computing projects available to other users of the Service. 

§2. DECLARATIONS OF THE USER IN THE REGISTRATION FORM

  1. By registering at the Site, the user grants the Provider consent for gathering, processing and using the personal data of the user within the scope required to provide the services.
  2. By checking the relevant field in the registration form the user agrees to receive commercial communication from the Provider.

§3. USER ACCOUNT

  1. As a result of the registration process, a user account (“Account”) allocated to the e-mail address provided is created on the Site.
  2. The user is granted access to the Account after entering the correct username and password that they set during the process of registering on the Site.

§4. RIGHTS AND LIABILITY OF THE PROVIDER

  1. The Provider reserves the right to introduce additional security measures or blocks upon noticing any attempts of abuse or harmful actions directed at the Site.
  2. The Provider shall not be liable for non-provision or inadequate provision of services in the event that it is caused by third parties that are beyond the reasonable control of the Provider.

§5. THE SERVICE

  1. In order to participate in distributed computing projects users are required to install the Client Application.
  2. After launching the Client Application the User is required to choose the “use account manager” option and enter the url of the Site (http://infernonet.com) in the relevant dialog box. The are also required to provide the username and password set during the registration on the Site.
  3. The Client Application will process tasks sent by projects that the User connects to on the Site.
  4. The Client Application will send computation results back to the project server for validation. The user will receive credits depending on the amount of data processed.

§6. REMUNERATION FOR PROCESSING DATA FOR DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING PROJECTS

  1. Remuneration paid out to users participating in a project depends on the amount paid in to support the project in an accounting month. Remuneration is calculated and allocated proportionally to the amount of credits earned by through participation in a project.
  2. 90% of funds collected in a month will be distributed to project participants as defined above.
  3. The minimum amount paid out is 5$. It is calculated as the total amount gathered by participation in all the computing projects available on the site.
  4. In order to receive remuneration, the user must hava a PayPal account registered to the same e-mail address that they used to register at the Site.

§7. PURCHASING CPU POWER FOR DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING PROJECTS

  1. In order to add their own computing project users should enter the url of the project on the relevant tab in the “Account” section.
  2. The project will be added to the list of projects available on the site after a successful verification by the administrator of the Site.
  3. The project's author or sponsor, in order to attract users to their computing project, may make financial contributions to the project's account. Payments made shall be divided among the Site users participating in the project, proportionally to the amounts of credits that they earn.

§8. COMPLAINTS

  1. Please direct all complaints pertaining to the Services defined herein in writing, with a “Complaint” annotation, to the address of the Site provider.

§9. FINAL PROVISIONS

  1. The Provider reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions. All such amendments shall be communicated on the Site.
